Patterson starlight
Tag: Scaffolder
Patterson starlight is a real, runnable Astro 7 site — not a preview page. It ships astro@7.1.5 and @astrojs/starlight@0.41.5, pinned without a caret, with a committed bun.lock so the install is verified rather than assumed. Copy the starter, bun install, bun run dev, and it’s serving locally with the navy header, hero, and a Diátaxis sidebar already wired up.
Reach for it when the ask is “a docs site” or “documentation for this repo” rather than a single static page. The branding lives in one file, src/styles/patterson.css, which remaps every Starlight --sl-* token onto the Patterson --pat-* set — no component is ejected, so the theme survives Starlight upgrades instead of forking them.
The starlight-site-builder agent can scaffold a fresh site or brand an existing Starlight project by copying just the stylesheet and the logo lockups in public/. Both paths respect the accent policy: sky is chrome and focus rings on light backgrounds, never body text, because sky text on white fails contrast.
This plugin scaffolds a full runnable project rather than a single static preview, so there’s no packaged demo page here — the deliverable is the site itself, running on your machine after bun run dev. No terminal demo has been recorded for this plugin yet, but corp.patterson.sh is a live example built with this plugin.
