Patterson docs
Tag: Template
Patterson docs packages two things: a docs-site UI kit styled after VitePress and structured by Diátaxis, and a standalone docs page template for when a full site is overkill. The UI kit gives you sidebar nav, content pages, and page collections; the standalone template is a single browser-openable page for a one-off doc.
Reach for it when the content is developer docs, a knowledge base, or a help center rather than marketing copy — anything organized as tutorials, how-to guides, reference, and explanation. The nav tree and page registry live in one file, data.jsx; adding a page there is enough to make it appear in the sidebar.
The docs-designer agent applies the Diátaxis structure directly rather than treating it as a suggestion, so a new set of pages lands in the right of the four categories from the start instead of getting reorganized after the fact.
